Our privacy policy
Last update: 21.08.2025
In the points and sub-points below you will find all the necessary information regarding privacy. It
explains how we handle the data, what we store and more.
Users may contact us by e-mail to
request a copy of the information we have on file or to have it deleted.
Data Security
All data is stored on our own servers, accessible only to members of our administration team. Our use of
self-developed or open source programs ensures transparency and accountability.
Just to let you know, we don't use any kind of tracking in our systems. Some pages, like the hosting
dashboard or our Baxi dashboard, use cookies to save the login session so you don't have to log in again and
again.
Your Rights
Under applicable privacy laws, you have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification: You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Restriction: You may ask us to temporarily or permanently stop processing all or some of your personal data.
- Right to Data Portability: You may request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@avocloud.net. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.
Baxi
Baxi is designed with privacy as a fundamental principle. We only process and store the minimal information required to provide specific services enabled on each guild. The data we process varies depending on which systems are activated.
The following data may be processed:
- User IDs
- Guild IDs
- Message IDs and content (in specific contexts)
- Attached files (in specific contexts)
We strictly limit data storage to what is essential for functionality. Here is what we store and why:
- Chat Filter Logs: If the chat filter system is enabled and deletes a message, a log entry is created. This includes the username, message content, guild name, and the relevant IDs (message, user, guild). This is necessary for moderation review and is accessible to everyone via a access link. Regardless of which chat filter system (SafeText or AI) is selected, all processing is performed exclusively on our own servers. No data ever leaves the Avocloud network.
- Global Chat Data: For messages sent in channels with global chat enabled, we store the Message ID, Guild ID, and Author ID. Attached images and files are uploaded to our servers with a randomly generated link to ensure permanent display within the global chat system.
- Web Dashboard Logs: When a user logs into the web dashboard and makes changes to a guild's configuration, these actions are logged. Accessing chat filter logs is also recorded and this activity is visible to the guild owner for transparency and security.
Baxi operates 100% independently on our own infrastructure. We do not share and/or sell any data with third parties. We are committed to privacy and transparency, all of Baxi's code is developed in-house and is publicly available on GitHub.
SkyFire
Furthermore, we try to safeguard your privacy with our Skyfire hosting services. However, in order to ensure
compliance with our hosting policies, we reserve the right to conduct random audits of our customers'
servers. Please refer to the Terms of Service for more information. We conduct random audits of our servers
to verify compliance with our internal policies and applicable laws.
When we monitor the status of our servers, the relevant information is displayed in the activity logs.
Please refer to the dashboard in the server view for further details. The activity logs allow you to view
the identity of individuals who have accessed your server and the date and time of each access. In the event
of a violation, the server will be subject to suspension, and you will receive notification via email. In
accordance with the nature of the violation, the server may be deleted or temporarily suspended until the
situation has been resolved.
The following team members have been granted access to the customer server:
- Red_wolf2467 - redwolf2467@avocloud.net
Minecraft
We run several different Minecraft servers. All of them are operated via Paper. All standard information is
stored on our servers, just like any other.
We use custom anti-cheat software on our servers called "IAC" (illegal anticheat).
AvoFilter - Plugin
Our Minecraft plugin "AvoFilter" sends every message that is sent on your server to our self-developed
backend server SafeText
, which is also available on GitHub as an opensource project.
NO data or requests are stored. The backend server keeps the necessary data in working memory until the
request has been completed and then deletes it again.
You can enter your own SafeText server data if you don't want to use the standard server.
SafeText Server
The SafeText server provided by us is a program developed by us to access a global user blacklist or to check text for bad words. Here are some brief points regarding data protection:
- We do not store any information about the content sent, such as messages, ... . All information will be deleted after the request has been processed.
- The communication between API client is secured with https & HSTS.
- The code of the program can be found on github to provide more transparency.
Finally, we would like to say that we try to develop as much as possible ourselves, and only use open source
software where possible.
We at avocloud.net do not give away, sell or share any of the data
we process or collect.
