Hi, I'm Fabian.
I'm a software developer from Wels, Austria with around five years of experience - what started as tinkering around quickly grew into a real passion. I love building things that actually get used and working on the kind of diverse projects that keep things interesting.
As the founder of Avocloud.net, I lead a small team that transforms creative ideas into reality. What started as a hobby has evolved into a collaborative platform where we experiment with software development, Discord bot creation, and various tech projects. My role covers full-stack development, server administration, network technology, and project leadership.
Tech Philosophy
I'm a passionate Linux user - my main PC runs Linux exclusively (sorry Microsoft!). I believe in self-hosting and maintaining control over my digital environment. From my own private cloud infrastructure to self-hosted password managers and even my own VPN - I prefer running everything on my own servers rather than relying on third-party providers.
Education
Currently attending HTL Traun, where my curriculum covers Medientechnik, network engineering, IT security, and database systems.

- 2026 Paramedic Training · Red Cross
Completing Sanitäter training with the Austrian Red Cross. Theoretical exam scheduled for late May 2026, practical hours to follow.
- 2025 EduGrade & QrGate · JRK Helfer
EduGrade released as an open-source Docker app for grade management. QrGate deployed in production for Helenenbühne Sattledt events. Stepped up as Betreuer at Jugendrotkreuz.
- 2024 Avocloud.net Launch
Officially launched Avocloud.net as a collaborative platform for open-source tools and infrastructure.
- 2023 HTL Traun · Baxi Verified
Started at HTL Traun (Medientechnik), covering network engineering, IT security, and database systems. Baxi became a verified Discord bot used in thousands of servers.
- 2022 Helenenbühne Sattledt
Took over full technical operations for the local theater group: sound, lighting, video production, and web infrastructure including email servers.
- 2020 First Lines of Code
Started programming with Python. What began as tinkering and curiosity quickly grew into a daily passion for building things that get used.
- 2019 Joined JRK as Kid
Joined the Austrian Youth Red Cross (Jugendrotkreuz) as a kid member.

A micro-server hosting service for running websites, projects, and status monitoring 24/7. Designed for speed, reliability, and ease of use.
QrGate
A full-featured event ticketing system with integrated shop, PayPal payment, automated email delivery, and QR code check-in.
EduGrade
Secure grade management for educators - AES-256-GCM encrypted with built-in analytics.

I am currently completing my paramedic (Sanitäter) training with the Red Cross. The theoretical exam is scheduled for late May 2026 - after that, many practical hours still lie ahead before completion.
