The Original: Craft Attack

Craft Attack is a long-running, legendary Minecraft survival event that has been played annually by well-known German YouTubers and streamers for over 13 years. Each year, the adventure starts completely new: building together, exploring, farming – and of course drama, friendships, and epic moments.

However, participation has been strictly limited so far: Only invited, mostly large content creators were allowed to participate. For the community, the project usually remained a spectator experience.

Avocloud.net x Craft Attack – For Everyone!

We at Avocloud.net love Craft Attack – but we believe such a project shouldn't only be for influencers. That's why we're starting our own, open format:

Everyone can participate! Whether you are a big streamer, a small YouTuber, or simply someone who wants to play Minecraft with nice people – you are warmly welcome.

Our goal: To build a friendly, creative, and fair community where everyone can have fun – without griefing, without chaos, but with a lot of togetherness.

Our server offers a mix of proven ideas and innovative new features – specifically designed for a fair, fun, and inclusive Minecraft experience.

Java & Bedrock Crossplay

Play together with friends – regardless of whether they are on Java Edition or Bedrock Edition (e.g., consoles, mobile, Windows 10/11). Thanks to Geyser and Floodgate, everything runs seamlessly on one server.

New Feature

One-Time Elytra at Spawn

At spawn, you receive an Elytra which you can use once to explore the world – just like in the original Craft Attack. After that, it is consumed. This keeps the feature fair and remains a special start bonus.

Existing Feature

Chunk Claim

Secure your builds and farms with our easy-to-use chunk claim system. Each player can claim the chunks around their builds to protect their creations from griefing and unauthorized access.

Extra Feature

Chest & Block Protection

Secure your chests, doors, Redstone machines, and entire bases with a simple right-click. No one can access your contents without permission.

Extra Feature

Voice Chat with 3D Audio

Communicate directly in the game with other players! Our voice chat plugin offers spatial sound – you hear from which direction someone is speaking. (Java players only.)

Extra Feature

Role-Play Elements

Let your creativity run free with in-game voice chat or the possibility to sit down properly.

Extra Feature

For detailed instructions on joining with Bedrock, installing optional Java mods, and more, check out our Documentation ↗.

How Can I Participate?

Getting started is easy: Click the Apply Now button above or fill out the form here directly.

This is not a strict "application," but rather a brief introduction round: We want to know who you are, whether you have experience with Minecraft, and what you expect from the project.

This helps us create a positive and respectful community and minimize the risk of griefing, cheating, or toxic behavior from the start. Fairness and fun are our top priorities. Registration is required to be added to the whitelist!

Official Server Rules v2.0

  • 1. No Griefing: Destroying, damaging, altering, or obstructing any player's builds, farms, Redstone contraptions, storage, roads, landscape designs, or claimed areas is strictly forbidden.
Unclaimed Territory Protection: Areas outside claims are protected if they show clear active use, defined as:
    • Recent construction (within last 7 days – visible via block history)
    • Farms with growing crops or active Redstone
    • Marked areas with signs, torches, or boundary indicators
    • Storage containers or item frames with items
    Punishment:
    • Minor damage (1–5 blocks): 1-day timeout + full restoration
    • Moderate damage (6–20 blocks): 3-day timeout + restoration
    • Major destruction (21+ blocks) or malicious intent: 7-day ban or permanent ban
    • Repeat offenders: Permanent ban after 3 griefing incidents
  • 2. No Stealing: Taking items from any container (chests, shulker boxes, barrels, droppers, dispensers, hoppers, furnaces), player inventories, or protected areas is never permitted. This includes:
    • "Borrowing" items without explicit permission
    • Taking items from death chests or graves
    • Using hoppers to auto-collect from others' containers
    • Stealing from unclaimed but actively used areas
    Punishment:
    • First offense (low value): 2-day timeout + item return
    • First offense (high value/rare items): 7-day ban
    • Repeat offense: Permanent ban
    • Stealing from graves: 3-day ban minimum (Rule 6 applies)
  • 3. Respectful Conduct: Harassment, discrimination (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia), threats, bullying, doxxing, or intentionally toxic behavior in-game or Discord is zero tolerance.
    Clear Definitions:
    • Harassment: Repeated unwanted contact, following players, spam messaging
    • Threats: Any threat of real-world harm or coordinated in-game targeting
    • Discrimination: Slurs, hate speech, or exclusion based on protected characteristics
    Punishment:
    • Minor offense (single incident, mild language): 1-hour timeout + warning
    • Moderate offense (repeated behavior): 1–3 day timeout
    • Severe offense (hate speech, threats): 7-day ban minimum
    • Extreme offense (doxxing, real threats): Permanent ban + IP ban
  • 4. Land Claim System:
    Claim Commands
    • Use /claim to claim your first chunk (16×16 blocks)
    • To add adjacent chunks: Go to the next chunk and type /claim addchunk [claim name]
    • Configure permissions: /claim settings (manage trusted players, PvP settings, container access)
    • Check claim info: /claim info
    • Maximum claim size: 64 chunks per player (1024×1024 blocks total)
    Claim Responsibilities
    • Claims must not overlap with the spawn area (the gorge where the spawn building is built, marked by a claim)
    • You may share claim access with /claim trust [player]
Claiming does not grant immunity from other rules. You cannot use claims to trap players, create lag machines, or store stolen items.
  • 5. Roleplay Framework:
    IC vs. OOC Boundaries

Roleplay areas must be clearly marked with signs. All other areas are OOC by default. Use [OOC] tag in chat for out-of-character communication. Roleplay never overrides core rules. You cannot RP-grief, RP-steal, or RP-harass. Any rule violation disguised as RP is punished at double severity.

    Consent is Mandatory
    • OOC refusal ("No," "Stop," "OOC break") must be honored immediately
    • Joining RP does not consent to permanent character death, item loss, or trauma themes
    • Sensitive themes (violence, death, discrimination) require explicit OOC consent
Ignoring OOC consent signals is harassment. Continuing RP after "stop" or "break character" results in immediate timeout.
Punishment: 2-day timeout for first offense; 7-day ban for repeat violations.
    PvP in Roleplay
    • Follows Rule 6 (Balanced PvP) and Rule 7 (Grave Protection)
    • Maximum one death per RP encounter unless both players explicitly agree to more
    • If a player logs off or disengages, RP combat must stop immediately
    • OOC discomfort during RP PvP requires immediate cessation
  • 6. Consensual PvP System: PvP is only permitted between players who have explicitly agreed to it beforehand.
A single hit with a fist or non-weapon items (e.g., carrots, flowers, tools not intended for combat) is allowed and does not count as PvP, provided that:
    • No armor, equipment, or held items are damaged or destroyed
    • No player is killed as a result
    Punishment:
    • Unconsented PvP (minor, no death): 1-hour timeout
    • Repeated unconsented PvP or causing death without consent: 1-day timeout
    • PvP with significant power imbalance or after disengagement: 3-day timeout
    • Malicious PvP (e.g., grave robbing after kill): 7-day ban (Rule 7 applies)
  • 7. Absolute Grave Protection: Death locations and graves are sacred zones protected in ALL contexts:
    • Grave Definition: Death chest location or exact death coordinates if no chest was placed
    • Protection Duration: Graves remain protected for exactly 15 minutes after death
    • Protection Radius: 15-block radius around grave is completely protected
    • Forbidden Actions: Looting, destroying, blocking access, placing hazards (lava, cacti), PvP trapping, or preventing grave access
    • After 15 Minutes: Items will drop from graves and become fair game for anyone to collect
This rule applies universally – no exceptions for RP, war, revenge, or "they deserved it." Even accidental grave interference requires immediate reporting and restoration.
    Punishment:
    • Accidental interference (immediately reported): Warning + restoration
    • Intentional interference: 3-day ban minimum
    • Malicious interference (trapping, destroying): 7-day ban
    • Repeat offense: Permanent ban
  • 8. No Cheating or Unfair Advantages: The following are strictly prohibited:
    • Cheat Clients: Any hacked client (Wurst, Sigma, Impact, etc.)
    • Combat Hacks: Aimbot, triggerbot, reach, hitboxes, autoclickers
    • Movement Hacks: Speed, flight, spider, step, phase, nofall
    • X-Ray: Any texture pack, mod, or tool that reveals ores (includes "ore highlight" packs)
    • Entity Radar: Mods showing player/mob locations through walls
    • Auto-Farmers: Any automation that operates without player input (AutoFish, AutoMine, AutoEat)
    • Coordinate Calculators: Tools that find structures (bastions, fortresses, monuments)
    • Chunk Pregenerators: Tools that load chunks without player presence
    Punishment:
    • First offense: 3-day ban + mod removal verification
    • Second offense: 14-day ban
    • Third offense or distributing cheats: Permanent ban + IP ban
    • Intentional advantage-taking: Permanent ban regardless of offense count
  • 9. Minimap & Client Rules: Minimaps (Xaero's, VoxelMap, etc.) must comply with strict limitations:
    • Allowed: Surface mapping only, basic coordinate display, player arrows (only your own)
    • Forbidden: Cave mode/underground rendering, waypoints at other players' claims without permission, automatic mapping via external tools
    • Screenshot Requirement: Staff may request screenshots of your minimap settings at any time
Punishment: Same as Rule 8 (Cheating) since unfair advantages compromise server integrity.
  • 10. Spawn & Hub Area Rules: Spawn area (including the canyon/spawn gorge) has special protections:
    • No PvP: Absolutely no player vs. player combat in the entire spawn canyon area
    • PvE Allowed: You may fight hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers, etc.) in spawn
    • No Traps: No water/lava traps, piston traps, or fall damage mechanisms
    • Building Restrictions: Only build in designated creative plots or with staff permission
    Punishment:
    • Minor violation (loitering): 30-minute timeout
    • Moderate violation (unauthorized building): 1-day timeout + removal
    • Severe violation (PvP in spawn canyon): 3-day timeout
    • Malicious violation (griefing spawn): 7-day ban minimum
  • 11. Performance & Lag Prevention: Players must not create builds or farms that degrade server performance, as observed using /tps or /tpsbar. Any setup causing sustained TPS drops must be modified or removed immediately upon staff request. Punishment:
    • Minor lag (temporary): Warning + 1 hour to fix
    • Moderate lag (persistent): 6-hour timeout + required optimization
    • Severe lag (risk of crash): 3-day ban + staff removal of the build
  • 12. Advertising & Self-Promotion: Promoting external content requires explicit staff permission:
    • Forbidden: Discord servers, YouTube/Twitch channels, websites, shops, other Minecraft servers
    • Allowed with Permission: Server-related content, community events, charity streams
    • Where Banned: Chat, signs, books, player names, Discord profiles, private messages
    • Staff Exception: Staff may advertise server events and community initiatives
    Punishment:
    • First offense: 1-hour timeout + content removal
    • Repeat offense: 1-day timeout
    • Spam/malicious advertising: 7-day ban
  • 13. Evidence-Based Reporting: All reports must be submitted through the official Discord server:
    • Primary Method: Create a ticket on our Discord server: avocloud.net/discord ↗
    • Required Evidence: Screenshots with visible coordinates/timestamps OR video recordings
    • Context Required: Evidence must show full context (not just the violation moment)
    • In-Game Backup: You may use /report [player] [reason] but Discord tickets take priority
    • Response Time: Staff will respond to tickets within 24 hours
Reports without proper evidence or submitted incorrectly may be ignored. Discord tickets ensure faster processing and better documentation.
  • 14. Content Creation Policy: Streamers and YouTubers must follow strict guidelines:
    • Live Mode: Mandatory /togglelive on before recording/streaming
    • Consent Required: Get explicit OOC permission before filming other players
    • Claim Attribution: Credit server and community in video descriptions
    Punishment:
    • Minor violation (forgot toggle): Warning
    • Major violation (no consent): 1-day timeout + video removal request
    • Malicious violation (exploiting rules for views): 7-day ban + permanent streaming ban
  • 15. Appeal & Due Process: All punishments can be appealed fairly:
    • Appeal Window: 7 days from punishment date
    • Process: Submit appeal via Discord ticket with evidence and explanation
    • Review Panel: Appeals reviewed by 2+ staff members not involved in original decision
    • Transparency: Written explanation provided for all appeal decisions
    • Emergency Unban: Immediate review for accidental permanent bans
Note: Appeal success depends on evidence, cooperation, and genuine remorse. Repeat offenders have lower success rates.
  • 16. Full Agreement & 3-Strike System: By joining, you accept these rules completely. The server operates on a strict 3-strike system:
    Strike System:
Strike 1: Temporary ban (duration based on rule severity)
Strike 2: Longer temporary ban (minimum 7 days)
Strike 3: Permanent ban from server
Instant Permanent Ban: For severe violations (hate speech, doxxing, malicious griefing of entire builds)
Note: Strikes reset after 6 months of perfect behavior. Genuine accidents with immediate reporting may not count as strikes.
Community First Philosophy: These rules exist to protect our community, not to punish. We prioritize education and restoration over bans. If you witness a rule violation:
1. Don't retaliate – this often makes things worse
2. Document evidence with screenshots/video
3. Report properly via Discord ticket at avocloud.net/discord ↗
4. Trust the process – staff will handle it fairly

Remember: A great server is built by players who respect each other. Let's make this community amazing together.

Transparency in Moderation

To ensure a safe and fair environment for all players, we employ several monitoring and logging systems:

  • Chat Logging: All Minecraft chat messages are logged and sent to a Discord channel that is only accessible to staff members for moderation purposes.
  • Player Analytics: We have the "Plan – Player Analytics" plugin installed to monitor server performance, gather analytics, and assist with moderation decisions.
  • CoreProtect Logging: We log player actions including block placement/destruction, item drops/pickups, container access, and other interactions using the CoreProtect plugin. These logs are used exclusively for moderation purposes, grief investigations, and rollbacks when needed.
  • Public AntiCheat Logging: All AntiCheat detections and resulting punishments are logged in a public Discord channel visible to all server members to ensure transparency in our moderation process.
Privacy Commitment: All logged data is used solely for server moderation, performance optimization, and community protection. We do not share personal gameplay data with third parties.
